Mystery Solved
I gave Bullet's pad a very close look after being wrapped all day and found a sharp object in the center of the cut. He was a very good boy and let me squeeze it a little to see what was in it. It felt like something sharp, so I took a tweezer and pulled on it until the small piece of rock came out. It looks like a small piece of quartz, which is like glass.
The ride home
While we are on the tollway, the pups lie down and sleep. As soon as we slow down and start making turns, they are all up and looking out the windows.
Dorothy and Fred's place
We made a quick trip to Dorothy and Fred's place today. This is a shot of a few of the pups. Ruby, Princess, Bullet, Glow, Dreamer and Lindy.
Bullet's sore foot
Bullet started limping on his front left foot. I couldn't see anything except a small cut in one toe pad. We put cotton and some "Vet Wrap" on it to see how things go.
Tommy the Quality Control expert
Kathy picked up a new bed at Costco, so Tommy gives it a QC check. I think it is passing. Tommy...Tommy...is it OK? Earth to Tommy...Hello!
Organizing leashes
With four dogs, it is a trick keeping them organized on a walk. Each one has their own color, so I know which leash to pull when one gets out of line. They all are very good walkers, but the girls seem to like sniffing more than the boys. When this happens, our organization starts to fall apart and I start to get tangled. I quickly sort them out by colors and then continue.

Stephanie the budger
Quite often when I am on the computer, Stephanie will bump my left hand wanting to be petted. I have to either stop what I am doing or just type one handed.
Dusty finds Baby
Dusty found Stephanie's baby. Stephanie was alright about it though. She is not possessive about it.
Tommy meets Lindy
On Christmas day Dorothy and Fred brought Dusty and Lindy over for a visit. Lindy is as big as Tommy and she wanted to play. Lindy's racing name was Moon Mt Landmine. She is being fostered by Dorothy and Fred while her broken leg gets stronger.

Greyhounds in The Kingdom of Heaven
I capture this from The Kingdom of Heaven DVD. Why?... Because they are greyhounds. :-)
This is the scene where Sibylla first meets Balian. Sibylla is the sister of the King of Jerusalem. Balian is the main character of the movie and is played by Orlando Bloom. I just thought it was pretty cool to see the greys, even for a moment, in the movie, because we all know they go back to the days of the pharohs in Egypt.

Bullet's nest
Bullet spent several minutes creating his new nest. Quite often they will rearrange their beds and it doesn't always seem to work well. Bullet got it all balled up and then flopped on top of it.
Bullet stretches
Kathy has been teaching all the dogs to "Bow" or stretch on command. Everyone knows Greyhounds don't mind. They tend to do what they want when they want to do it. Running very fast and sleeping tend to be high priorty. Sit, come, especially when no food is present is very very low on their list. She keeps working on it though.
Dualing Squeekers
Bullet and Stephanie attack the sqeekers in their toys at the same time. Glow looks on, totally unimpressed.
Tommy Supersizes his bed
Well...Tommy pawed and rearranged his bed until he made it supersize and left Bullet without a bed. I had to drag another one in from the living room.
