Bullet rests below the rest of the original pack. It is good that we have Cantu now to keep him company. I don't think he would do well by himself.

We added Tommy's tags to the bronze racers. He joins Glow, Stephanie and Bliss.

Tommy Romano 4/26/2000 - 11/25/2013. We had to say goodbye to Tommy. He had lost control of his hind legs and fell down while we were out. We will miss him so very much. We was such a sweet boy. The only race he couldn't win was the race with time. At 13 years and 7 months, he was the oldest of the pack.

Cantu found one use for this book.

Jenifer Barker came over to give Tommy an injection to help improve the control of his hind legs. Tommy circles about a dozen times before he will lay down. It seems that he starts and then feels pain and then stops and starts circling again. John Sappington was visiting and he helped hold Tommy.

Tommy spends a lot of time napping. He is getting very frail and sometimes has trouble stepping up through the back door.

We had a little bit of cool weather and Cantu has shed her farm coat, so we put Stephanie's coat on her.

Tommy checks out the mulch pile. Every now and then he gets a burst of energy and starts to dig. A couple of times he has done a lap or so around the yard before running to the door.

Cantu sits a lot like Stephanie did.

On house cleaning day we put the beds out on the patio. Bullet sees a nice place to take a nap.

We had a storm come through tonight and Cantu came and hid under my desk when she heard the thunder. She really doesn't like the storms.

On 6/1/2013 we added a new member to our pack. Cantu is an 8 year old female that we got from Tim Waller's farm where she had two litters of racers.

Tommy is frail, but he still eats well and gets around OK. We can still go on short walks. He has a little trouble jumping up into the van, but he still can make it.
