Kaitlyn walks Tommy

Kaitlyn walks Tommy whils I handle the other dogs. Tommy is very easy to walk and Kaitlyn enjoyed walking with him. Tommy is almost as big as she is. 

Kaitlyn's Visit

Our granddaughter Kaitlyn came for a visit an got to see all the pups. 

Bullet wins the Mud King title

Bullet was running figure 8 laps around the maple trees and sent mud flying against the fence on both ends of the yard. He was quite happy with himself until I got the hose out. 

Mud babies

We went from snow to mud in the back yard, so the hounds decided to go racing in it. Nobody got in the house without being hosed off. 

Santa Pictures

We stopped by PetSmart and guess who we found. Santa had his hands full posing with five greyhounds. We also ran into a greyhound Meet-n-Greet for Midwest Greyhound Adoption. We had our own Meet-n-Greet walking thorugh the store. 

Bliss gives chase

Bliss chases Bullet around the tree and Glow positions herself to intercept him as he runs by.

Face Off

This looks like a face off before the contest with Glow being the referee. Its just a quick play bow to start another race.

High Speed Turns

They get some good traction in the deep snow and make some high speed turns chasing each other.

We got snow and the Hounds love it!

We got lots of snow and the hounds had a ball racing and playing in it.

Tommy and Glow

Tommy and Glow snuggle. Brother and sister snuggle together. This doesn't happen very often. Glow usually doesn't like to be that close to any of the other dogs. She seems very comfortable with her brother, Tommy, though.

Glow finds her little nest in the leaves.

A sunny and warm autumn afternoon

The hounds enjoyed lying in the nice warms leaves. They each made their little nests and snuggled in.

This is the latest x-ray of Stephanie's Blasto infection. It really is clearing up. It will still take a few more months of medicine to make sure it is gone. 

More racing and play

Tommy rarely races with the others in the back yard. This day he got into it for a while.

Morgan has been very concerned about Stephanie's Blasto infection. She was very happy to see that her favorite pup is doing well.

Tommy and Glow share a bed

This is the bed we have made up in the corner of the bed room. It is Tommy's favorite place. Glow likes it too, so in this case they both decided to take a nap during the day together.
