Cobblepot reunion
Tommy and Glow were reunited with their sister Zoe (No Barking Zone) at Lisa Kadow's place. Zoe has had some sort of stroke and seems to be recovering slowly. She really perked up when her brother and sister got there.

Glow has some sort of stroke
Glow had some sort of stroke that made her limp on her right rear leg first and then it went to her front right leg. She was panting and very disoriented. I gave her an aspirin and after about an hour she appeared normal with no side effects.

Glow has her turn at the mulch pile
Glow seems to take this mulch pile seriously. She acts like she has a plan as to how she wants it to look.
Bullet has Mulch Pile Madness
The hounds love the mulch pile and they are great little farmers keeping it turned over.

Tommy and Glow
Tommy and Glow catch some sun on the patio. They are starting to show signs of aging. They both seem to have stiff joints. Glow seems worse than Tommy, so we are giving her Tramadol to help relieve the pain.
Another use for the DIY Pill Gun
Glow needs to take Tramadol for joint pain and I discivered i can use the pill gun as a cheeze cutter. I push the pill gun into the cheeze and cut out a plug. I then push the pills into the hole. Glow gobbles it up fast. I push the cheeze plug out with the plunger to clean it.
DIY Pill Gun
Stephanie needs to take a bunch of pills every day for her kidney problem. She isn't very good at taking pills either. She already has to take a liquid medice and I noticed that the barrel is about the size of the capsules she needs to take. So I cut of the end of it and discovered that the pills fit perfectly inside. I load it up with two at a time and the job goes fast.

Stephanie's tail wound is healing
I took these photos today to show the progress of Stephanie's tail wound. We let the air get to it to dry it up and help speed the healing process.

Walking out
The hounds get ready to walk out of the house on their walk. They are really great about staying calm. They all go out in te same order everyday and they get in this position each time.

Stephanie's mishap
Stephanie went to the specialist to get her kidney function checked. It has dropped again to 19%. While she was there, her tail got slammed in a door. The tail can be saved, but it has a nasty cut in it.

Walking in the park
It was a beautiful day for a walk in the park with the hounds. Stephanie gets short walks these days due to her bad leg so she didn't come this far.

Grass Reconstruction
This is a comparison of the yard from March and May. I fenced off the yard to give the new grass and new seed a chance to grow. Once the new grass and the old grass was established, I took the fence down. I used Scott's high traffic seed. So far it looks like it will work. Bullet has already given it some test runs and I don't see large divets and such from his high speed turns. Fingers crossed!
Bliss is Chillin'
The temp hit about 93 deg today, so Bliss loved it when I filled her pool up. She is the only one to take advantage of the nice cool water.

Turkey Gizzards and Hearts
We feed the hounds raw food. This is 40 lbs of turkey hearts and gizzards thawing out in the utility sink.
5 dogs + New Carpet = SpotBot
With this many hounds, every now and then there is a spot to take care off. Usually it is one of them barfing up some bile and a small piece of bone. This little dude does the job very well.
