This is Chig, one of the two Greyhounds that live in the Hall of Fame. Abby is the other.

Greyhound Hall of Fame

Kathy and I arrive at the Greyhound Hall of Fame in Abilene, KS.

Sierra and Chevy

Dorothy sent this today. Sierra and Chevy look like they are clowning around but they both just like to "cockroach". She caught them both at the same time. They look hilarious with their mouths open.

Morgan and Princess

Morgan and Princess give Kathy some attention. You can see how big Morgan is here.

Fred lends a hand

Dorothy is fostering a broken leg dog. Fred lifts her out so she can go outside in the turn out area. She broke her leg racing. 

Stephanie likes crates

Dorothy fostered Stephanie before we adopted her, so whenever we go for a visit, Stephanie loves to climb into any crate that is open and will stay in there for the whole visit. She loves being in a crate.

Glow sees something

Something catches Glow's interest. I think greyhounds look great with their ears in this position.

Stephanie rests on baby

Stephanie rests her head on baby. You can see that baby is getting very worn out. The eyes are gone and it has been repaired several times to keep the stuffing inside.

Glow with wings?

This is one of those pictures that you have to keep the camera close by to get. I am making breakfast for myself and Bullet and Glow park in the hall waiting to go for a walk. It looks like Glow has sprouted wings with the way her hind legs are.  

Morgan Sleeping

Morgan got tired of all the visitors and took a short nap. 

Sierra and Fred

Sierra was showing Fred where and how to scratch. He seems to be enjoying it. 

Princess

Princess loves to stand under the plants and feel them rub on her back.

This is Dreamer. He was just relaxing and watching all of the activity.

Morgan is getting bigger

We got to see little Morgan today also, but she is not so little anymore. She is getting close to full size now. 

Glow and Zoe

Here is a shot from the other side to show their difference in coloring.

Zoe and Glow relax. As I watched Zoe, I saw her act very much like Glow does.

Glow and Zoe look very much alike. The coloring and the shape of their heads are very similar. Zoe is on the left.

Glow meets Zoe

Today Glow got to meet her sister, No Barking Zone (Zoe). We thought there would be some noticable recognition, but they treated each other like any other greyhound. We are adopting Glow's brother, Tommy Romano. We will see if she recognizes him. There is a picture on greyhound data of another sister, Barkingintherain.
