And #2 wins
The final shot of the dog race in "Good Will Hunting" shows a black #2 winning, but the race started with a fawn #2.
Greyhounds in "Good Will Hunting"
This is a still from the movie "Good Will Hunting". A greyhound race appears at 1 hr and 1 min into the movie. Some interesting things about this are: The first shot shows a fawn colored hound in the #2 blanket, but the second and third shots show a black hound wearing #2. The scene opens with the starting bell ringing, but the hounds are just making the final turn. They have already made a complete circuit of the track.
The Gang relaxes after the wash

The gang takes some time to finish drying off and to relax after the dog wash. They all were ready for a nap.
Stephanie is the last

Stephanie is the last one to get her shampoo. The lady in green is the mom to Lucy, who was Monty's sister. Everyone was very nice and we got five sweet smelling hounds out of it.
Glow and Bullet were up next

Glow and Bullet got their turn next. Neither one of them like all of this special attention, but they stood still and let everyone do what they had to do.
Bliss gets her turn

Bliss gets her turn in the wash. Tommy and Bliss went first. She was very good and let everyone do their job.
Greyhound Alliance Dog Wash

Tommy was one of the first of our hounds to get his spring cleaning at the Greyhound Alliance Dog Wash. He did a good job and let the ladies scrub him down.

Tommy and his ears

Tommy has the strangest ears of all our hounds. They are usually straight up. Sometimes they push together and look like a shovel or a radar antenna. They seem to have very stiff cartilage, so they don't bend and flop in the middle like the other hounds.
Stephanie's Ears

When I first looked at this, it looked like she had four ears. On closer inspection, the shadow is the other set. Stephanie has this sort of unique way of being on alert.

Tommy and Stephanie

Here is another shot of Tommy in Stephanie's space. She doesn't seem to mind Tommy at all when he does this. Tommy's sister, Glow, does not like this sort of thing from any of the hounds.

Glow loves my dirty sock.

Glow is the one that likes to drag my shoes out of the bedroom. In this case she has settled for resting her nose on one of my dirty socks.

Nap partners

Tommy doesn't seem to mind that his feet are on top of Stephanie. Stephanie didn't seem to mind it either. That was a big surprise.
Triple Decker Tommy

We got some new beds, so the old ones got stacked waiting to be picked up by our friend Dorothy. All of the hounds like nice big soft piles to lay on. Tommy climbed up and settled in on the old beds.
Stephanie's plate after the Vet visit

We took Stephanie to the Vet and they removed the screw. She got some stitches and some antibiotic pills. She is not very good at taking pills and gives us a hard time.
Stephanie's plate

Stephanie has a plate in her right hock from when she broke it racing. It has given her plenty of problems. This is the second plate. Now one of the screws is showing. This means another trip to the Vet.
