Kathy and Bliss have a little tug-o-war while Tommy watches. 

Playtime with baby

Stephanie has been doing well with her medication and is starting to act her old self again. Here she is playing with her baby and appears to have plenty of play in her.

Stephanie and glow spot a squirrel in the back yard and prepare to chase it when the door opens. Stephanie always has to carry her baby in the process.

This is one view showing the Blastomycosis in her lungs. The fungus is the speckled or mesh like part of the image.

Bad news for Stephanie

Kathy noticed that Stephanie was coughing a lot and she wasn't eating very much. She took her to the Vet and they discovered that she has Blastomycosis. This is a fungus that gets into a dogs lungs and then into other tissues. We are giving her medication to fight it. The process will take months and there is a possibility she may not survive. We caught it early and that is in our favor. We are praying for her to beat this. She is so sweet and has had so many problems with her leg and her teeth. She doesn't need this also.

Glow and Bliss share

Glow and Bliss share a bed. Glow will not normally share, but when Bliss decides to grab a small spot on the bed, she doesn't seem to mind it at all.

Roger and Tommy take a nap

Roger gets first hand instruction about a greyhound's life from Tommy. Sleep, Eat, Sleep, Walk, Sleep, Eat, Sleep. 

Dog walkers

Morgan and her dad, Roger, help me walk the dogs. Roger really liked walking Tommy. Tommy is very well behaved and always stays right by your left side. After my knee surgery I won't need the brace anymore. 

Feeding time

Morgan feeds the pups their breakfast. Raw chicken quarters are their favorite.

Glow and Bliss

Glow teases Bliss with the toy and then they chase around the yard.

The Killer Bs

Bliss and Bullet keep close watch on the back yard. The insurgents don't have a chance once the door opens.

The Independence Day Parade

We walked the dogs along the parade route and held our own meet n' greets. Everyone loved the dogs. They all looked sharp in the stars n' stripes bandanas. 

Morgan the groomer

Morgan did a great job grooming the dogs while she was here. She also did the poop scoop patrol. The dogs really loved the attention and she really enjoyed being with them. 

Post race panting

After a good chase the siblings rest and cool down. Everyday we see how much more alike these two are. They both monitor the back yard for squirrels and jump up at the slightest sound to see if there is something out there. They stand at the door like shadows of one another. Their ears are set the same and they move their eyes in sync looking for the squirrels. There is no doubt about their relationship. They also seem to like each other and always are paired up. 

Bullet and Bliss playing

Bullet and Bliss love to play and chase each other. Bliss really gives him a good chase. Sometimes Glow joins in and the three will race all over the yard.

Morgan and the pups

Morgan came for a visit and this is our first walk together with the pups.
